Technical Assessment
On the date and time, we agreed with you, your installer will visit your home to collect all the data, measurements and photographs for our design team to carry out the Technical Assessment. This visit is purely for data collection and for the installer to notify the design team of any potential challenges and details to ensure the most effective installation of your new heating system
It is highly likely tat you will have a number of questions for the installer, however until the system has been designed and planned there are some questions the installer will not be able to answer at the stage. Any questions you have will be noted down and forwarded to the design team, and once the system design is underway a member of the design team will get in touch with accurate answers to your questions.
This stage of the Technical Assessment will require the installer to be with you for around 2 hours. They will need access to every room in the house to take measurements that allow the designers to establish an accurate understanding of your home. They will take measurements of the thickness of your walls, the levels of insulation, the condition and insulation properties of your windows, and will inspect many aspects of our existing plumbing and electrical supply. If you currently have a 60amp main fuse we will advise and assist you in getting it upgraded to a 100amp fuse.
They will also take as many photographs as possible to enable our design engineers to get an in-depth understanding of the specification and condition of your home to enable them to produce an accurate heat loss calculation.
