Our Accreditations

Putting your trust in us is your choice. Proving you right is our purpose.

At CB Heat Pumps we understand that trust is one of the most important factors when deciding who is going to install your Air Source Heat Pump.

The accreditations below offer peace of mind that the information we provide is accurate and honest, that we will do an absolutely first-class job, and that you will have ongoing service and support for the life of your system.

No-nonsense third-party endorsement in the form of recognised industry accreditations demonstrate that you don’t have to just take our word for it.

The accreditations we have attained are the result of stringent assessments and evaluations. They are renewed only when we can prove that we maintain the high standard required.

Below is every one of our accreditations and what they mean to you. Every explanation is in the words of the organisation behind the accreditation, not our words.

An MCS certificate is proof that your installation has been designed, installed & commissioned to the highest standard using only MCS certified products by an MCS certified installer. Please note that an MCS certificate is not a mandatory or legal requirement for system installation. However, it is a requirement should you intend to claim the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS).

Why you should use an EPVS member

When you are considering buying green energy products you could receive a quote from the installer stating how the product will perform, how much it could save you from a reduction in energy bills and how much you could earn from government subsidies like the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS).

These figures are key to your decision-making process. You take it on trust that you will potentially save hundreds of pounds per year if not thousands. How can you trust the installer is giving you the correct figures and not enticing you into buying? By using an EPVS member you can feel assured that the installer has gone through a rigorous process to become a member and has satisfied EPVS that its paperwork is up to standard. We keep a track of our members to ensure they are providing consumers with accurate performance estimates and monetary savings.

Benefits of using an EPVS member

  • Increase confidence in the installer providing you with a quote
  • Added layer of security and protection from EPVS
  • Our process gives accuracy importance thereby reducing misselling
  • Independent ongoing monitoring of installers ensures compliance
  • You will receive an EPVS certificate stating your installation is registered
  • FREE validation check is available to you should you require it
