NEW RELEASE: The new Vaillant Heat Pump is now available!

June 11, 2020/1 Comment/in Uncategorized /by [email protected]

Why the new Vaillant Heat Pump is better than before!

Vaillant have released a heat pump which is the first air-to-water heat pump suitable for new and existing buildings. This is the first Vaillant product based on renewable energy source. It has great suitability for modernisation due to higher feed temperatures – which also means higher savings! The pump comes with a comprehensive service package which makes the installation easier for skilled technicians. It will work with a natural, environmentally friendly refrigerant, generating temperatures of up to 75 degree Celsius. Another plus? It is extremely quiet, operating at a noise level of 29dB which equates to slightly quieter than a whisper.

Environmentally Friendly & Efficient!

You may be thinking: wow, that sounds so great but is it really that different than the others? The answer is yes! The new heat pump boasts a top energy label for this category with an A+. It is also achieving the annual coefficient of performance (JAZ) of 4.5. It can be quickly and easily combined with existing heating appliances to deliver extra energy savings. Using a natural coolant, water can be heated to temperatures of more than 60 degrees Celsius. This is done in a quiet, efficient, and environmentally friendly way.

Also, as radiators that are used in existing buildings require higher feed temperatures than underfloor heating systems, so far heat pumps been primary used in new buildings – but not anymore!

Lighter & Smaller in Size!

The heat pump system itself comprises both an outdoor unit and a compact indoor unit, holding the hydraulics and the water storage. Not only does this save time, but it also saves money at the installation stage. The tank is 50% lighter and smaller than the previous model, weighing just 66kg and a diameter of 66cm.

Without needing the support of a second heat source, this heat pump can supply a radiator system with 55 degrees Celsius with the modulating heat pump automatically adjusting its output. It can also offer the option of active cool which is a real additional benefit with the increasingly hot summers we are experiencing in the UK.

Installation made Easy!

Vaillant offers a comprehensive range of services when launching a new product. They have introduced a fantastic installation app with which a skilled technician can scan the product’s QR code and access step-by-step videos straight on their phone. This is a design which assists in installing the new heat pump quickly and easily, which is always great!

The innovative technology requires the construction of a water-based, hydraulic systems which means that working on the refrigeration circuit is not necessary for the maintenance by a technician.
